UREC Video and Audio Ad

Client: JMU UREC (University Recreation) Demonstration Kitchen |   2025  |   30 second video and audio

Project objective: create a 30-second video ad and a 30-second radio ad for a campus service of our choice.

Intended audience:

College seniors who are gluten-free/celiac.  

Key insights: 

Our research revealed three key challenges for gluten-free college students: limited on-campus dining options, a lack of basic cooking skills, and social isolation due to dietary restrictions. Additionally, many students are unaware of the Demonstration Kitchen and UREC’s cooking classes. 

Big idea:

We were tasked with showing them the helpful recipes that the kitchen can teach them how to make and how useful this would be for them after graduation. 

Our two slogans were: 

"Set yourself up for success" and 

"Your future self will thank you."

Creative approach: 

Building awareness through nostalgia and benefits. Such as saving recipe, sharing with friends, go-to meal post-grad. Aligning with URECs brand: fun and uplifting.
